Aperol Spritz
250ml1) Aperol Only Aperol will do here. Aperol is a bright orange apéritif. The brand describes the flavors as, “zesty orange with complex herbal scents harmonized with a touch of vanilla.” Look for Aperol near the liqueurs or amaros at the liquor store. 2) Prosecco Prosecco is an inexpensive Italian sparkling wine similar to Spanish Cava or French Champagne. I recommend choosing a dry (brut) Prosecco so your drink doesn’t turn out too syrupy or sweet. 3) Club soda For some fizzy dilution. Any unflavored sparkling water will work. I keep cans of sparkling water in my pantry for this purpose. 4) Slice of fresh orange You can skip this if you don’t have it, but an orange slice is the classic garnish for an Aperol spritz.RON 22.00Gin&Tonic

11 strawberry 2 fresh basil leaves 2 teaspoons white sugar ice cubes 2 fluid ounces gin 1 fluid ounce fresh lemon juice 3 fluid ounces chilled club soda Step 1: Place the strawberry basil leaves, and sugar into a cocktail shaker, and mash well with a cocktail muddler. Add half of the ice to the cocktail shaker, and place the rest into a tall glass. Pour in the gin and lemon juice, cover, and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted. Strain into the chilled glass over the ice, top with the club soda, and stir to serve. Editor\\\'s Note: For garnish listed in the magazine version, cut a lengthwise slice from 1 strawberry. Top with a basil leaf about the same size as the strawberry slice. Thread a cocktail pick through strawberry slice and basil leaf, pinning basil leaf in place. 1mlStep 1 Gently scrunch the mint in your hands to lightly bruise it, then put in the bottom of a large wine glass. Pour over the elderflower cordial and gin and leave to infuse for 1-2 mins. Step 2 Fill the glass with ice, then pour over the soda water and prosecco. Stir gently to combine. Garnish with the lime wedge and mint sprig before serving.RON 22.00
